Picard 2023 S5.2 PTZ IS — Intelligent, mobile monitoring with analysis of the PTZ video content
To patrol areas illuminated at night, the robot is supplied without a thermal imaging camera. «Picard’s» PTZ camera uses the STARVIS 2 visible light sensor manufactured by Sony. The camera has high sensitivity, which allows the robot’s video surveillance system to reliably detect people in very low light conditions. The difference between «Picard» and «Argus» robots is only in the absence of a thermal imaging camera. The price of «Picard» robot is more than 10% cheaper than «Argus».

Technology
Smart surveillance & recognition by PTZ camera
Our security solutions leverage a formidable array of technologies, ranging from AI-driven robots dedicated to safeguarding critical infrastructure, to cutting-edge deep learning algorithms enabling precise detection of firearms. With AI's discerning eye, we identify suspicious behavior and violent individuals, while harnessing the power of big data surveillance to empower law enforcement. Our commitment to innovation ensures a safer future.
Based Intelligent Surveillance System. The on-board supercomputers in the video content analytics system in Picard robots use deep learning algorithms to detect objects. Their neural networks are capable of distinguishing over 100 types of objects. Above all, this means people, different types of cars, their license plates, and weapons. Selecting objects, and subsequently tracking them with a PTZ camera, allows obtaining high-quality data suitable for further analysis and making objective decisions to assess a threat.
To prevent shooting incidents at schools and campuses, the robot’s AI video surveillance system is able to detect weapons in a person’s hands; this operating mode involves the intelligent video analysis of a group of people using a high-resolution PTZ camera. Smart control of a high-resolution zoom camera allows keeping a group of people in the robot’s field of view.
The L1’s interior was crafted with the planet in mind. We began with durable flooring, produced with renewable energy and low climate impact. From there, we chose stain-resistant countertops made from ocean waste. And finally, we designed a custom textile that’s automotive-grade and up to 70% recycled polyester, for a lounge area that lasts.
One of the objectives that will be fulfilled in the near future using video surveillance robots is detecting suspicious behavior and identifying violent individuals. The combination of intelligent mobile robots and the computing capabilities of data center servers allows instantly detecting aggressive human behavior, recognizing it, and enforcing public safety. A large-scale group of intelligent video surveillance robots can provide total security, with minimal involvement on the part of security officers to maintain it. All of the strategic functions for enforcing safety will be given over to artificial intelligence; security officers will still have tactical objectives involving enforcing the law and detaining intruders.
